Playful Pollinators (ages 3 - 5)
A Day in the Life of a Camper
Our youngest campers have the choice to attend for our morning session (8:45am - 12pm), our afternoon session (12:45pm - 4pm), or stay for a full day of camp (8:45am - 4pm).
-
Families may drop off their child early! During this time, children will engage in open-ended play and group games in our gymnasium.
-
Children can be dropped off at camp anytime between 8:45am and 9am each morning. During this time, children enjoy open-ended play and team building with their counselors and camper crew!
-
Each camper crew comes together to greet one another and learn about the special activities for the day!
-
Our playtime includes a daily rotation of specials, such as sensory experiences, creative arts, music and movement, and imaginative play! Campers have the opportunity to explore thematic play stations throughout the room.
-
Camper crews will find a shady spot outdoors to enjoy a healthy snack and story.
-
Next, our youngest campers will enjoy an outdoor nature adventure to stick village, our sandpit mud kitchen, the fairy house, hummingbirds hideout or our pollinator garden!
-
During this time we will pack up, cool down, and reflect on the day’s adventures. We may share about the day, engage in a relaxing game, or sing songs as a group.
-
Our half day children can be picked up at camp at 12:00pm. During this time, children enjoy relaxing games and/or songs their camper crew!
-
Our full day campers will enjoy lunch and rest time in between sessions (12:00pm - 12:45pm).
-
Children will engage in a similar routine as the morning. All projects and activities have choice naturally built in so our full day children feel engaged throughout the whole day.
